PLANNED GIVING

Central Nassau welcomes planned or deferred gifts. If you would like to include the agency in your Will or some other type of estate planning, we would be happy to assist you.

A Bequest

We ask that you take a minute to consider a bequest to Central Nassau Guidance and Counseling Services, when you are updating or drafting your Will. A bequest can be easily established in your will to reduce estate taxes and provide a legacy of support to those struggling with mental health and/or substance abuse issues.

To leave a percentage of your estate to Central Nassau, you can state:
"I give, devise, and bequeath to Central Nassau Guidance and Counseling Services, Inc., 950 South Oyster Bay Road, Hicksville, NY 11801, (percent) of my estate."

The same wording can be used to leave a specific dollar amount, securities or real estate holding. You can also designate the agency with a residual interest in your estate.

Trusts

Another possible option would be to create a trust for the benefit of your spouse (or other individual) for life, and the have the remainder go to Central Nassau.

Gifts of Life Insurance

You can name Central Nassau as a beneficiary of a paid-up life insurance policy when your family responsibilities decrease. You may also establish a new policy with the Central Nassau as a beneficiary.

Our staff would be pleased to assist you in fulfilling your charitable goals.
